Established in 2013, Presidency University in Bangalore is a part of the Presidency Group of Institutions established in 2013 and campus is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is a private university that has been re-accredited by the NAAC - National Assessment and Accreditation Council. MBA programme of the institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

The University has been awarded the Best University of the Year in South India by ASSOCHAM India. Also, in 2014 it has been recognised as the Most Promising Institute in South India by the British South India Council of Commerce and Business Meet.
