Formerly known as SBMJC - Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College in 1990, Jain University is ranked among the top universities located in Bangalore that was established by JGI Group. It was granted the status of a 'Deemed-to-be-University' in 2009 and the NAAC - National Assessment and Accreditation Council awarded it 'A' grade in 2017. Also, it was ranked at 85 by NIRF 2020 while it’s FET - Faculty of Engineering and Technology, secured 117th position in India. Jain Deemed-to-be-University is a Member of AUAP - Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific and AIU - Association of Indian Universities.
