BIMTECH - Birla Institute of Management Technology was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, supported by Birla Group of Companies. The institute is situated in Greater Noida. Late Dr. (Smt.) Sarala Birla and Late B K Birla, chairperson of B K Birla Group of companies are the founders of the business school. BIMTECH has been accredited with ‘A+’ grade by NAAC. BIMTECH offers AICTE approved postgraduate programs in General Management, International Business, Insurance Business and Retail Management.

BIMTECH Admission Process

BIMTECH application process is conducted in online mode. Candidates are required to fill the application form available on the official website of the institute, followed by paying INR. 2,000 as the application fee. In total, 85 per cent seats are filled by the General category candidates, while the remaining five and 10 per cent seats are reserved for ESCS and corporate/ NRI candidates, respectively. Given below is the course-specific BIMTECH admission process:

• BIMTECH PGDM (General) and PGDM (IB) admission is based on a valid score obtained in CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, followed by a WAT - Written Ability Test and PI - Personal Interview round
• Admission to PGDM (RM) & PGDM (IBM) programmes is based on CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT scores, followed by WAT and PI round
• Admission to FPM and E-FPM programmes is based on BIMTECH doctoral entrance exam, followed by an interview round conducted by the institute. UGC-NET-qualified students can directly appear for the interview round
• Admission to certificate courses is merit-based
