Xavier General Management Aptitude Test – XGMT is an online entrance test being conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar – XUB. Candidate can download admit card from the official website : http://202.191.140.165/ac/.

Xavier University - is a Jesuit, Catholic university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It was authorized by the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2013. Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, established by the Jesuits in 1987, is now affiliated to the University. The entrance test is a gateway for admission to various MBA programs offered at The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB). X-GMT (Xavier General Management Aptitude Test) to be conducted by Xavier University at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai Candidates will get the option of choosing their preferred exam centers while filling the application form. The final allotment of the exam center can be viewed on the admit card. It must be noted that the institute has the right to change the exam center anytime according to availability of seats Every year more than 40,000 student appeared in this exam and 10,00 qualify for next round.

Eligibility for attempting X-GMT 2021 is a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university in any discipline with at least 55% of marks in aggregate (60% for MBF). Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2020, can also apply. Last year 42,000 student appeared in the Exam and 10,000 qualified.

Exam Pattern of X-GMT 2021

·         X-GMT 2020 will be a computer-based online test.

·         The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes and the medium of the test is in English language for all the candidates. Candidates need to attempt multiple choice questions – MCQs that will be spread across 4 sections, namely, Quantitative Aptitude - QA, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning - VA & LR, Data Interpretation -DI, Emotional Quotient and General Awareness -EQ & GA.

·        The four sections during the test will appear in random sequence and there will be sectional time limits, which means a candidate will not know the next section and must complete a section in a given time. If a candidate finishes any section early, He/She must wait for the next section to begin and can’t go back to a completed section.

·         The type and nature of questions will be like the other prominent entrance tests for management education.

·         There will be negative marks for incorrect answers.

X-GMT-2021 Eligibility is as given below

·         The candidate must hold a three year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline, and must have secure at least 55% marks in aggregate (60% for MBA-UMG). From a recognised university.

·         GATE scores can be accepted for MBA-UMG only.

·        Candidates who have secured the 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd positions in their bachelor program can directly apply to MBA-RM and MBA-UMG programs, without having a valid CAT/GMAT, XAT and XGMT score. Along with the application, the candidates need to attach the PI- Personal Interview.

·       Admission of candidates who fail to complete all the requirements for obtaining degree before 15-Jun-20 will automatically be cancelled.

·        A candidate who joins a program in the university will not be permitted to sit for the any other institution or agency.
