PSG College of Technology was established in the year 1951 and founded by the PSG & Sons' Charities Trust. The college has over 15 engineering and technology departments besides the computer applications, management sciences, basic sciences, and humanities departments.

PSG College of Technology Admission Process

TNEA Counselling 2020 is a single-window process for admission to B. Tech programmes offered in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges, including PSG College of Technology. Candidates must note that TNEA written exam has been scrapped and so seats are allotted in TNEA through the merit list. The merit list for this entrance exam is based on Class 12 score scaled to 200.

GATE is also accepted for M.E. and M.Tech. The Ph.D. admissions at the college are based on GATE, NET, JRF and PSGCT Entrance scores.
