Prasanna College of Ayurveda & Hospital was established in January 2013, under the Prasanna Education Trust, Laila, Belthangady, Prasanna Ayurvedic Medical College holds a dense impact in the field of Ayurveda. It is one of the premier institutions in Belthangady. The college started in 2016 and is now in its 3rd year with 100 students in each batch. Dr. B. K. Prashanth is the Principal of the college.

Prasanna College of Ayurveda is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. It is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines.

The institute follows the ancient traditional practice of Panchakarma and Yoga therapy along with modern diagnostic and surgical tools. Obstetrics OT facilities are also available for comprehensive health care.

The college holds a 100-bedded hospital to provide practical knowledge to the candidates. The hospital consists of a Yoga Hall, Ward, Panchakarma, Labor Theater, Scanning Room, etc.
